New Home for the Cuba Corps
Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Cuba Corps had temporarily set up in the ground floor of Booth House in Cuba Street after moving from their premises in Vivian Street.  They were excited about the outreach possibilities by being situated so closely to the community that they serve.  We worked closely together to design and develop flexible spaces that were welcoming for all and easily converted from one use to another.  A Cafe space  and large auditorium  sit side by side supported by a commercial grade kitchen.  Private office spaces are adjacent to the cafe with larger areas for play groups and other community groups.
