how we work

with workspace architects you'll experience a job well done by a team passionately committed to delivering solutions that work for building owners and office tenants alike

For the past 20 years we have been proud to work with many of New Zealand's leading businesses, building owners, landlords, tenants, letting agents and builders. We've become known for our in-depth knowledge and expertise and our innovative yet pragmatic approach – exploring, identifying, designing and implementing successful solutions.

Workspace Office

we deliver practical design solutions without compromising on quality or innovation

Our key difference to many architecture practices is our ability to create high quality bespoke designs without letting the design drive the budget. We can control the budget so effectively because we have years of experience construction managing our designs on-site. We believe we remove many of the financial risks associated with the 'design comes first’ approach and deliver results without compromising on the quality and innovation of the finished product.

it’s all about working closely with our clients

Together, we clarify goals, investigate possibilities and develop ideas – whether the project involves an existing building or an idea that's just taking shape. If you're one of our Clients, you'll be part of the team every step of the way – working with a dedicated Project Architect and accessing the best advice in the business from our network of specialist consultants. What's more, you'll be able to develop and realise your vision with the benefits of sophisticated 3-D modelling technology. This ensures that knowledge developed during the briefing and design stages is not lost during implementation of the project on site.

how we work 1 how we work 2
Stage 1

For any project our first goal is to understand our Client Business Drivers and ensure that our scope and design refer back to those at all times. 3 D models like these are used in the earliest stages of design to communicate initial design concepts to the Client.
Stage 2

The models are then overlaid with corporate branding and materials to ensure our Clients understand our interpretation of their design brief.
Stage 3

If required these models can be taken to the highest level of photo realistc detail to provide a tool for marketing and brand development.

“To us, Architecture is about the entire process – from asking the right questions, to getting the squeaky door fixed after move in day. We take our clients on a journey so they feel as if they are part of the solution.”

more than great design

To us, architecture is about the entire process - from asking the right questions to getting the squeaky door fixed after move in day. We take our clients on a journey so they feel as if they are part of the solution.

All our architects are members of the NZIA. Each year all members undergo continuing professional development to ensure skills and practices are completely up-to-date with current industry standards. As 'hand-on' architects we are trained to promote ourselves as the single point of contact for your project. An NZIA registered architect, with more than 20 years experience, will guide you through all stages of the project.
